雪崩式是指把對手從 top turnbuckle 拉下來，借 top turnbuckle 的高度令對手受到猛烈撞擊而達到重創的效果。
例如佐佐木健介的雪崩式夾頭翻摔，Kurt Angle的Super belly to belly suplex都是雪崩式系的招式。
但注意Lita的hurricanrana，並不屬於雪崩式系，因為hurricanrana是自己從 top turnbuckle 跳下來攻擊對手，而雪崩式是對手在 top turnbuckle，然後把他拉下來，兩者是有分別的。
